Jakub Miśkowiak won the third round of the FIM Speedway U21 World Championship held in Pardubice and became the Individual Junior World Champion. The silver medal went to a Dane, Mads Hansen and bronze to Wiktor Lampart.
From the beginning of the meeting we witnessed a good ride of the favourites. Apart from Hansen and Miśkowiak the best riders were Norick Bloedorn and Jan Kvech. Petr Chlupac and Daniel Klima also had good start of the meeting, so the local fans were delighted about the results of their representatives.
It was an interesting main phase. Some important decisions were made in the heat 20. Francis Gusts scored only one point against Lampart, Chlupac and Gilmore, which deprived him of a chance to reach the semi-finals. As a result, Wiktor Lampart was already sure to win the bronze medal.
The bronze medal of Motor Lublin's rider is undoubtedly a great success. Mads Hansen and Jakub Miśkowiak fought for the gold. Both of them advanced to the final, however the Dane had to fight for the participation in an interesting heat no 22. The rider from the country of Hamlet managed to cross the line as second - just behind Norick Bloedron. The final was completed by the hosts' hero Jan Kvech.
It all came down to the final. Miśkowiak took the lead after the first corner and was the first to cross the finish line. Mads Hansen finished second - both in Pardubice and in the general classification. Jan Kvech completed the podium.
The fans of Poland National Team has reasons to be happy. Poles dominated the podium of the general classification, where only Mads Hansen separated their representatives.
