Cierniak with a wild card in Krosno

The representative of Poland, Mateusz Cierniak, received a wild card for the 2nd finale of the FIM Speedway U21 World Championship 2021, which will take place on September 25th in Krosno. The reserve riders will be Michał Curzytek and Dawid Rempała

The second round of the FIM Speedway U21 World Championship is just ahead of us. After the competition in Stralsund (Germany) Mads Hansen is on the lead thanks to the victory over Jakub Miśkowiak and Wiktor Lampart in the final heat. The Dane has a two point lead over Miśkowiak, although the Pole scored more points in the overall competition.

The second final of the FIM Speedway U21 World Championship will be held in Krosno. The city located in southeast Poland, is the rising speedway center that has seen fantastic progress within the past two years. A year ago, the local team was promoted to the second level of competition in Poland, and last weekend they advanced to the final of the league, thanks to which they will fight for promotion to the best speedway league in the world - PGE Ekstraliga.

Local fans for sure will support members of the Polish National Team. One of them will be Mateusz Cierniak, who received a wild card for the upcoming rivalry.

Cierniak is one of the biggest young talents of Polish speedway. The junior has won gold medal in the European Pairs Championship 2020 in Terenzano and the title of the FIM Team Speedway U21 World Championship, which he won together with Lampart and Miśkowiak last Friday in Bydgoszcz. Cierniak is a regular rider for the PGE Ekstraliga finalist – Motor Lublin in which he achieves an average of 1.33 points per race.

Miśkowiak is the new Individual Junior World Champion

Jakub Miśkowiak won the third round of the FIM Speedway U21 World Championship held in Pardubice and became the Individual Junior World Champion. The silver medal went to the Dane, Mads Hansen and Wiktor Lampart received bronze.

Miśkowiak wins in Krosno. The Pole is the new leader of the series.

Jakub Miśkowiak won the second round of the Individual Junior World Championship which was held in Krosno. The podium was completed by Mateusz Cierniak and Mads Hansen. After today's meeting, Miśkowiak became the new leader of the interim classification of the series.
