Throughout the years, Polish speedway riders have been noting numerous successes in the Individual Speedway Junior World Championship. Especially in the last seasons, these riders have been taking the top roles in the series. Let's take a closer look to stars of the white and red in U-21.

First medal for Poland (golden) was reached by Piotr Protasiewicz (1996). At the track in Olching, he found no conqueror in any of the stars and with maximum points – 15 got the ultimate win. One year later, Rafał Dobrucki was close to repeating „PePe”'s success, but ended with silver in Mśeno.

Pole was back at the top stand on the podium in the next season. It was some amazingly good meeting for the Polish riders, because two first places in Piła were taken by Robert Dados and Krzysztof Jabłoński, who had to challenge each other in the additional heat to get the gold's winner. Another good year for the white and red was 2000, when Krzysztof Cegielski and Jarosław Hampel got the silver and bronze. One year later, a huge suprise was made by Dawid Kujawa – rider from Zielona Góra amazed everybody and got the gold at English track in Peterborough. Rafał Okoniewski was third (after defeating Krzysztof Słaboń in the race-off heat). Silver was added to the rich possesions of Poles by Krzysztof Kasprzak in 2002 (Slany).

Years between 2003 and 2006 are the real Polish domination. Golden medals were reached by Jarosław Hampel, Robert Miśkowiak, Krzysztof Kasprzak and Karol Ząbik. What's more, while Hampel was getting the hold, Rafał Szombierski added bronze. Poles' hegemony was stopped by Emil Sayfutdinov, who got the two golds in a row in 2007 and 2008 (as a first rider in the history). In that time, Poles added bronze reached by Paweł Hlib (Ostrów Wielkopolski, 2007).

Another medal was won in 2010, when in new formula (consisting of three meetings), silver was taken by Maciej Janowski. One year later, he advanced and got the first place in the overall classification (bronze was added by Przemysław Pawlicki). Third medal – again silver – Janowski got in 2012.

Since 2013, representative of the white and red gets the title. Three years ago, Patryk Dudek, Piotr Pawlicki and Kacper Gomólski took the podium. 2014 was a gold by Piotr Pawlicki and silver by Kacper Gomólski. In the last season, Bartosz Zmarzlik became the world's best junior.
