We're with Robert Lambert, 18-year old rider from Great Britain and one of the favourites to win the first final of the Individual Speedway Junior World Championship.
Venue in King's Lynn is your home track. Does that mean you can be treated as one of the favourites of today's meeting?
I'm pretty sure many people see a favourite in me thanks to that fact. However, they should know that the track's condition can sometimes be totally different than usual and it can change during the meeting. That is why I should not be considered as the favourite.
What can you tell about the qualification rounds to the final?
It wasn't easy in Manchester. Weather interrupted helding a full meeting there. Each of us appeared at the track only once and then the meeting was stopped. I lost a direct advance with one point, so I'm really glad of getting the wild card from the organizers.
This Wild Card can make you even more motivated when it comes to winning the whole cycle?
Of course I want to win all the time and that's the aim, however it's my first year of riding in the junior championship, so I don't to want to put a pressure on me. I will be happy after finishing the cycle in the TOP8.
You're familiar with the tracks in Gdańsk and Pardubice?
I don't know any of this venues, but I do hope that I will like them and get there a few points.
