Maksym Drabik had a crash during the Swedish league match. His leg was broken in three spots. This injury means, that son of famous rider Sławomir Drabik will not start in the first round of FIM Speedway U21 World Championship.
Maksym will be replaced by Paweł Przedpełski, who's officially the first reserve of the cycle. Rider from Toruń didn't go through in the qualifications in Manchester, however his friend's bad luck may lead him fighting for the gold of Individual Junior World Championship.
Przedpełski was a permanent rider of this tournament in the last season. He won the second round in Lublin and it seemed that medal is extra close, however a poor performance happened in the Czech Republic. Pole ended as fourth in the general classification and was forced to move his ambitious plans to the next season.
