Andreas Lyager got seven points in the first round of FIM Speedway U21 World Championship, which was held in Daugavpils. Dane admits that it was hard for him to adjust to the surface.

Rider, for whom current season is his last among the junior riders, didn't get a single heat in at the track in Daugavpils. Lyager, with 7 points gathered, put himself in a position right behind the TOP 8, which were guaranteed with promotion to the semi-finals. Dane was only one point away from this position.

- Well that was a really disappointing meeting for me... just couldn't find the setup, and I was taking the wrong lines, but that's how it is, it's just speedway - Lyager said.

After the first round of world's best juniors rivalry, Danish rider is already 10 points behind the medal position.

- Everything is possible, but if it'll work, we will see after the final round in Pardubice. I will do my best! - Dane added.

Second round of Individual Speedway Junior World Championship is going be taken in Leszno. For Lyager, it's a great info, because this track actually suits him.

- This track is really nice, bringing good racing with many Lines, everything can happen there - Lyager ended.
