29th of September is the day, when the third round of Individual Junior World Championship will be held. It's going to be an exciting fight for medals and we asked our expert - Jacek Frątczak about his bets.

After two rounds, in Poznań and Güstrow, two Poles are on the lead of general classification - Maksym Drabik and Bartosz Smektała. There is only a one point difference between them and according to Jacek Frątczak, it's them who will fight for gold.

- This year, we have some really interesting series. It's extremely tight in the general classification and it's great that Maksym Drabik is back into racing and everything will be settled on track, in sport conditions. Naturally, I keep my fingers crossed for Polish riders, but I also have my real favourite rider, who I really like. I'm talking about Bartosz Smektała, who impressed me f.e. in Güstrow, where he had a fantastic final heat. I hope that it will be him and Maksym fighting for the top goal.

Next to Smektała, my other favourite rider in this line up is Dominik Kubera. Somehow I support riders from Leszno the most - Jacek Frątczak says.

Poles, even before starting the series, were treated as favourites to reach for top positions and Max Fricke was listed as their main opponent. Currently, Fricke is third, with a small loss to podium. Do we need to point our extraordinary attention to Australian rider?

- I remember last meeting in Pardubice well - I had a chance to comment it live and I think that Fricke is able to join these two: Drabik and Smektała in this fight for gold. I also count on my rider from Toruń - Jack Holder, who can fight for TOP 6. He also has had some good performances on this track. Brady Kurtz is another rider, who's capable of getting a good result. Actually, we have like eight riders, who can make a surprise - Frątczak says.

One year back in Pardubice, it was Dimitri Berge, who won the round, but this year, he's been having some tough moments and currently is ranked in 11th position.

- He can definitely have a blast here. It's interesting, because thanks to him, speedway map in Europe is spreading. He's a decent rider and I think that it will be like last year, when he left a really good impression.

Round in Pardubice saved my season

2018 season was first for Robert Chmiel in U21 FIM Speedway World Championships cycle. Young rider from Rybnik had a pretty good reasult – he finished 9th with 11 points. It’s important to remember, that beginning wasn’t as good as final score. In Daugavpils, Pole scored only 1 point. Also in Leszno it was only a little bit better, because ROW Rybnik rider finished competition with 4 points. Now he’s explaining, that in Latvia he had some bad luck.
