Maksym Drabik had a crash during the Swedish league match. His leg was broken in three spots. This injury means, that son of famous rider Sławomir Drabik will not start in the first round of FIM Speedway U21 World Championship.
The FIM is pleased to announce that it has made its selection the permanent wild card riders and nominated substitute riders for the 2016 FIM Speedway Under 21 World Championship Final Series, which will begin at the Adrian Flux Arena, Kings Lynn, Great Britain on 18th June.

Max Fricke won the second eliminations final to the FIM Speedway U21 World Championship. Bartosz Smektała, who defeated Eduard Krcmar in the additional heat, was second. Advance was also reached by Brit, Josh Bates, who took 4th place in Pocking.
Maksym Drabik with the maximum - 15 points got the advance to the FIM Speedway U21 World Championship with no bigger effort. Even after losing some starts, Pole was able to pass rivals at the distance. Next to Pole, another riders got the promotion: Viktor Kulakov (Russia), Adam Ellis (Great Britain) and Patrick Hansen (Denmark).
Right before the first qualifications final to FIM Speedway U21 World Championship, a press conference concerning cycle's organization by One Sport, was held. From this season, Junior World Championship will go under auspices of One Sport - company that raised European Championship to the next level. New logo has been revealed and some other information concerning U21 round in Pardubice.
Another qualifying round to the U21 World Championship will be held in Manchester. On May 21, at the Belle Vue Aces' track riders including Paweł Przedpełski will make a struggle to go through.
